General Assembler

Glenn Hepfner, Incorporated is searching for General Laborers to become an integral part of our team due to expanding our customer base! General laborer duties may include cleaning job areas, loading and assembly of product and using a variety of tools and machines such as forklifts, power tools and grinders.

Responsibilities:

• Math Skills: Basic math skills
• Familiar with the function of hand tools related to grinding/deburring materials
• Good attention to detail and self-motivated
• Accurately read a tape measure and micrometer
• Execute daily work instructions received from shop manager/supervisor in a timely manner
• Able to work independently through given instruction or as an active member of a team
• Manual dexterity to use hand held tools and shop machines
• Assemble steel pieces from stamped or laser cut sheets and sort according to order
• Positive attitude and work ethic
• Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt, and set out or put away tools
• Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Benefits and schedule will be discussed. Compensation will be based on experience

Job Type:

Full-time 1st Shift Monday through Friday -7:00am to 3:30pm
2nd Shift Monday through Thursday – 3:15pm to 3:00am

Qualifications:

• Experience in general labor/manufacturing and/or metal fabrication
• Ability to understand blueprints documents
• Knowledge of simple operations in windows based computer environment; preferred in JobBOSS
• Stamina to remain on feet completing various tasks
• Ability to handle physical workload

Laser Operator

Glenn Hepfner, Incorporated is searching for Laser Operators to become an integral part of our team due to expanding our customer base! The Laser Operator will also support the production team by assembling parts, operating machinery, set-up specifications of customer orders, bending, punching and sanding of metal products as instructed by shop manager.
Responsibilities:
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task and follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• Understanding and the use of a caliper, micrometer (digital or dial), tape measure
• Set up laser machine based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment
• Lift raw materials and final products manually, or using hoist
• Ensure parts of the correct quality and quantity emerge from the laser cutting system and are routed to the correct location on shop floor
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and clean-up of laser equipment
• Account for time and work completed via online computer data collection system
• Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work
• Benefits and schedule will be discussed. Compensation will be based on experience.

Press Brake Operator

Glenn Hepfner, Incorporated is searching for Press Brake Operators to become an integral part of our team due to expanding our customer base! The Press brake operator produces parts from metal using a press brake, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends, punches, or cuts into metal.

Responsibilities:

• Math Skills: Good math skills will help press brake operator understand complex instructions, how schematics work and make sure items are designed and build correctly
• Problem Solving Skills: Press brake operator will need to know why machines are not at peak performance, how to increase output and how to fix errors
• Attention to Detail: Press brakes are precision equipment. Being off by millimeters could be a critical error. Keen attention to detail is required
• Mechanical and Technical Skills: Machines controlled by computers will need operators who understand CAD/CAM technology
• Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Benefits and schedule will be discussed. Compensation will be based on experience.

Tig Welder

Glenn Hepfner, Incorporated is seeking a TIG Welder to become an integral part of our team due to expanding our customer base! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
• Install and repair various equipment and components
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
• Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
• Ability to handle physical workload

Responsibilities:

• Problem Solving Skills: Turret punch press operators will need to know why machines are not at peak performance, how to increase output and how to fix errors.
